This year we ended up taking Isobel to a pumpkin patch twice, one as a semi-quick stop in the evening at the beginning of the season to a patch in town and one we drive to every year that’s a few miles out. I was surprised she didn’t have PPF – pumpkin patch fatigue, because in addition to the two trips she made with us, both sets of grandparents took her a couple times, too. She’s a girl after my own heart though and she loves herself a pumpkin patch. As you can imagine we have a vast array of pumpkins and gourds all throughout the house because of it. We practically have enough to start our own patch as well.
While we were there taking photos a kind parent who knew how to work an SLR took a hold of my camera and offered to snap a couple of family shots of us. Isobel, who is very intimidated by strangers, wanted no part of this at first, so Anthony and I decided to have the pictures taken of just the 2.5 of us. Isobel couldn’t be having with that, though, so she found a way sneak in.
