I found a Hello Kitty craft book for Isobel at the recent Friends of the Library Book Sale. The crafts in the book are largely meant to be made using craft foam, but Isobel isn’t the biggest craft foam fan, and instead insisted we use felt. It’s cheaper than craft foam (I could only find the foam in large packages) and I think it makes for a nicer product. This pin, for example, is so much cuter in felt than it would be otherwise. It’s perfect for Easter, too. Isobel picked the colors and gave Miffy shockingly pink eyes instead of the instructed brown, so she actually looks like all those albino bunnies we see at the fair.

(The headband she’s wearing is my Christmas present from Stef. I thought I looked cute in it until I saw Isobel wearing it. No one can ever look as cute in it as she does now.)
