I am finally making good on my promise of a Yumbox giveaway! I’ve had a lot of interest on Instagram about the Yumbox I pack for my daughter’s lunch every day so I reached out to the company and asked if they wanted to participate in a giveaway on Little Big. I’m not being compensated in any way by this company–I’m just so glad I’ve found a reusable lunchbox system that works for us that I wanted to spread the word. The Yumbox system perfect for Isobel’s school lunches, and I say this as someone who used to bring a bento to work for lunch every day, and I’ve tried many. It holds plenty of food despite its compact size and fits into standard insulated lunch bags. It’s easy for Isobel to use and easy for me to clean. It’s leakproof and keeps all her food separate, a must for my ultra-picky daughter! It’s also really cute to boot.
Yumbox is offering any one of their fantastic lunchbox containers to a lucky reader. My personal fave is a toss-up between gelato blue and pomme green, though I’m of course partial to Isobel’s pink lemonade. They offer two different configurations of trays as seen in the photo above: a four compartment tray that perfectly fits a sandwich with plenty of extras, and a six-compartment tray that offers tons of variety while keeping things neat and separated. Trays come with fun, whimsical illustrations or plain, your preference. Isobel uses the four-compartment style (though I’m thinking about purchasing the six-compartment to add variety) and she loves eating until she can see the illustrations on the tray below.
To enter, all you need to do is leave a comment below telling me about your favorite snack to find packed away in your lunchbox, or your favorite thing to eat at lunch. I’m looking for all the inspiration I can get! After that step you can gain lots of additional entries by following Isobel’s Bento board on Pinterest, by tweeting a message about the contest, or by pinning the photo above (Bento Lunch Ideas).
Unfortunately this contest is only open to US residents as Yumbox is still working on expanding to other countries. If you live outside the US and would like to find out about when the company can ship to your country, sign up here. If you have questions about the lunchbox you can ask them here or visit their faq for more information.
The contest runs through Friday. I wish you the best of luck!
