Our main computer is having issues, mainly in that it is dying. It’s suffering from what I call “Buick narcolepsy” because we used to have a car that would just power down and turn itself off whenever it felt like it–in the middle of an intersection, driving down the street, while backing out of the driveway, you know, just whenever. Whenever it wanted to. Anyway our computer is having this same issue of just turning itself off whenever it feels like it which has made completing any sort of project a pain in the ass.
In all fairness, we’ve had this computer (the big one, not the red laptop pictured above) since about 2005, so it’s lived a long, full life. We had seen this coming and since my side businesses depend on having a working computer with certain programs (photography, blogging, vintage selling, banner designing) a computer is pretty necessary. We ordered a computer and it arrived all shiny and new and praise god and pass the ammunition and we set it all up only to find out that it has some sort of graphics card glitch so it has been sent in for repairs. So.
Follow Friday should be up tomorrow, but for now I leave you with this helpful photo of what goes on in the world of computer tech repair:
