Thrifted Closet – Elephant & Stripes

11 Oct

I haven’t taken photos of myself for the thrifted closet in awhile, and I’m going to chalk that up to laziness on my part because I’ve been finding more clothes then ever on my recent thrifting expeditions. We have a new thrift store in town and it quickly became my favorite, surpassing even the Catholic thrift store as my store of choice. That store has some great clothes and the whole family has been kitted out in outfits from that shop. I just haven’t taken that extra step of photographing them on me, but Isobel’s wardrobe is almost 100% thrifted and secondhand and I take no shortage of photographs of her.

This adorable pink elephant shirt came to us secondhand and I’m pretty sure it was given to us by my friend Bri, but we’ve gotten so many handmedowns lately it could be something that came from Alice. But I’m pretty sure it’s from Bri (thanks, Bri!). The pants were thrifted and I found them in a stack with three other sets of striped, colorful pants and they were all about the right size. Isobel is pretty picky about pants and it’s really hard to find jeans that fit her slim frame, so these guys were just perfect.

I am kind of sad she didn’t want to wear her favorite pink hat, but it’s just as well. It would have ruined her fetching ponytail Just kidding! She did that herself in under an hour.

I adore those pants! They look comfy but still have style.

What more can you ask for in a pair of pants, right?!
