It’s kind of nice to have a friend with baby fever, like my friend Bri at Sarcasmically. Even though we’ve never met in person, we’re internet buds, and the last time she was at Target she felt compelled to indulge her baby fever and buy some adorable gifts for Isobel.
Even though the shirts are 3T she wore the bird one already and it as only a little big. Isobel loves any shirts that have the following: birds, flowers, or cupcakes. Needless to say, it also has glitter, so Bri just became my child’s hero. (Actually, I think Santa is her hero, but Bri, you’re up there!) She may have made her baby sign for “bird” and said “tweet tweet!” when I showed her the shirts.
As you can tell she is enthralled with the Panda note pad and started coloring in it, like so, as soon as I gave it to her. I mean, look at that face. So serious about coloring. The girl is all business.
See that? What’s she’s doing there? I’ve been on her case so much about not putting crayons in the mouth that she tries to psych me out. She’ll look at me, slowly raise it to her lips, and then quickly give it a big kiss. She then smiles at me like fooled you, Mama!
Now she must jam it into the spiral. I don’t know why her mouth is open. Singing, probably. As for the stickers, she liberally applied them to her father last night. He went to bed with a starfish on his knee.
Thanks so much, Bri! We love it.

I like your friend’s taste. E has that same bird shirt and it’s easily one of our favorites.
She has excellent taste. Excellent!
Oh my God, be still my ovaries.
BTW, I thought sending stickers was kind of mean of me, because any time MY kids get stickers, I’m peeling them off the walls & carpet for weeks afterward, but I could not resist those aquarium stickers, SO HATE ME IF YOU MUST.
Isobel loves stickers. She doesn’t realize they go on places other than the human body yet, so we’re cool.
Actually, we’re more than cool. Thank you for the awesome presents!
That’s soooo sweet!!
