Black Friday has never been as important to me as Cyber Monday. Some people get a thrill from waking up early with the family to go out in the cold and fight for their holiday shopping deals. I am more the type to lounge around in my jimjams with my hair piled into a messy bun and surf the web for presents with my daughter on my lap and my husband playing video games. Ahhh.
I’m a lover, I guess, and not a fighter. At least, I’m not the sort of fighter that enjoys getting up early and going out into the cold.
Here are some of my favorite etsy picks in honor of that American Holiday Tradition known as… shopping.
Vintage Pendleton Skirt
You don’t have to be a librarian to adore this skirt.
I think the whole world probably already knows about my love for this ring. When it’s sold, I’m going to pester Windsor Grace to create another one just for me.
These adorable embroidered art creations would brighten up any bedroom or desk space.
Attention, Librarians and Bibliophiles: I got your street cred right here.
Photograph: The Spot
This photo would be perfect for your desk at work. In the middle of the miserable week, you can gaze at this photo and imagine vines overtaking your desk and trees and shrubs emerging from your cubicle walls. Let the Wild Rumpus Begin.
Hand Painted Travel Coffee Mug
I’m a bit jaded when it comes to travel coffee mugs. I feel like I’ve seen ‘em all. This hand painted one made me take notice.
Pearly White Pendant
A pearly-white clay pendant. Dress it up or dress it down. Comes in other colors, too, but I love the clean simplicity of white.
Winter Holiday Card
You’ll notice this is a birth announcement and not a holiday card. No worries! The Red Star designs will happily turn it into a Christmas card for your family as she specializes in custom design work. I love the black and white look of the card and think it would make a sophisticated holiday card.
Chocolate & Cranberries Scarf
This color combo just screams fall. Hand-knit scarf.
